She's such a skinny dried up thing.
Yet often used to hold such things,
as cheeses creamed and potted meats.
..jams,and hams and candied sweets.
Pickled things, lots of jellies,
and...other things from the deli.
And
.....One should really add to this toast,
how crisply you provide your host ,
with all such great tasting fare.
Simple foods and those quite rare.
Here's to you Melba, may your spread
continue though you're not
.uh .shall we say, really "well .. bread"
