Fragments of me-
scattered through time,
displaced in moments of carelessness
and lost through actions of neglect.

Fragments of me
sown to the Earth-
the world harvesting the fruits of my good nature,
hungry soil suck dry
in space de-voided of
fertilization and re-germination.

In an attempt to avoid barren conclusion-
I go in search of scattered fragment of me
with optimistic hopes of rediscovery
from misconceptions of times long gone.

Fruitful seeds of success is what I find
amidst mountains of tangled vines
& vicious weeds; chaotic creeds I leave behind
as I mount unwavering steed & proceed-divorced
from the greed of mother’s unconditional love.

For then, and only then, can growth occur,
and only then can IO begin to reassemble
those fragments of me,
scattered through time.
