I sink into it with each touch like every step
Your eyes cool and inviting like the waves bringing in the tide
I dive in and I am submerged in a cool comfort that I never want to leave
I cannot breathe so I swim to shore and lie in the soft sand and bask in the warm sun that is your soul
A gentle wind cools my skin and warms my ears with the sweet song of your voice

You are the ocean in my heart
Let these waves wash away all the scars of a time before
Tides pulling away the dark and pushing in the light

While I lie and write poetry in the sand
Someone steps into my sun casting a shadow that is familiar
You brush the hair out of my eyes
You lie with me on top of the blanket of words I created
We begin the write a new poem in the sand
One that only you and I can read
And the tide comes in and spreads all my emotion
Through out my whole entire ocean

OOOOohhhh I found this very beautiful, the relationship, the love, combined with the soothing feel of the ocean. Beautiful piece of writing here. Thanks for sharing.
Peace, Laura
