Suicide is Painless

Contributed by Cancer on Sunday, 16th February 2003 @ 09:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

in my room
alone again
in this world
alone again
fairy tale ending
so far away
everything just
fades away
nothing left
no, nothing's real
can't deny
the way i feel
no one left
to help me through
only one thing
that i can do

scrape the barcode from my chest
scribble a note down
who will care?
i cry a bit
i'm still afraid
but, i can't go on
"living" this way
god has failed me
everyone has
i see no future
blocked out my past
these scars that bleed will never heal
i pick these scabs now, just to feel
the blood seeps out
but not enough
my wrists cry out
for the razor's kiss
so ***** ugly
so ***** cold
so ***** glad
to finally say goodbye

and when you come to see me
my dead body is all you'll find
you see, suicide is painless
except to those you leave behind
