It's just as any other
Shower, make up
You get the rest

Outside the air is extremely cold
Snow is falling and you just know
Today will be a great day
Quiet, peaceful..so tranquil

I greet my clients
They all say hello
How's it going?
Fine, I say.

Now it's almost time to go
I pack my things up,
But somethings just not right
I can feel it in my bones

My perfect world ,it just now unravels
I realize this is no ordinary day
For me they are forever gone
In less than three minutes, thats all it took

Those three minutes are an hour
Never forgotten, will always there
In my waking hours, in my sleep
That is what is my always and forever

No more will I go to work
And smile at a stranger and say "hello"
Or say.."yeah..wouldn't we all"
When he says..I want it all

And when he pulls aside his jacket
To show you..he intends to have it
The steel as cold as the snow
Your blood runs so much colder

When they call your children
And say, your Mom will be late
There has been a small problem
We'll do what we can, to make it right

So when the tears fall..so late at night
And I'm trying so hard to be brave
Not a sob will be ever heard
My children will never see my fear

And then the nightmares start
So vivid, so real, and his eyes..dead
I see that gold glinting metal
Of the end of his deadly gun

I know the sensation of helplessness
at the hands of a bandit
I also know
how we then stop smiling and trusting
anyone we do not know.

u Express yourself well on this life changing topic.

Here you take no victim stance:

"My children will never see my fear..."

Here I feel your suffering:

"i wish so bad it never happened..."

Here is the missing humanity a turth for all:

"...For me they are forever gone
In less than three minutes, thats all it took

Those three minutes are an hour
Never forgotten will always be there
In my waking hours, in my sleep
That is my always and forever..."

I hope there is much healing for you in your sharing.

Thank You
Blessed Be
AJPIII
