Array ( [sid] => 127407 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Thanks For the Biggest Lie [time] => 2006-10-25 17:44:26 [hometext] => please comment this one... its a poem about my losing a friend that was so much like a sister to me; that didn't die but was mislead, into a world i cannot describe... [bodytext] => Your here, your gone
Ever since the knife cuts so much deeper.
Why lie to me I can handle it in my own ways.
All the games you played with my head.
All the times you said, I love you.
Oh, might as well been another stab.

Just please let the lie go on alittle longer,
So I can breathe alittle longer.
Don't let the candle die,
Just let it burn my flesh.

Today i saw my best friend die,
Watched the light leave her eyes,
But every now and then see her in the hall.
Then, I wrote on the tomb for all to see,
Thanks for the biggest lie!

I didn't see the hint,
Maybe I wasn't watching out,
Dropped my guard,
But now I see so clearly,
My darkest hour that lasted more than a year.
All a dream, a lie I didn't see.
All a joke and more questions with no answers.

What happened here?
How did the lies get formed?
Why didn't show before I got this far?
If you did all over again,
How would you change things?
Would I come first or just be a shadow on the wall?
Would I see the lie, love you more?

Oh, what a dream this has been,
A mistake I will never forget...
My wake up call back to reality, bang, bang.

My life ends tonight,
I hope you don't mind
You didn't seem to before...

The title is what caught my attention.
It's a terrible thing to lose a friend in
lies and slander. I know this feeling.
I was treated the same way. It's just
one of the most terrible things in the
world that none of us want to happen.
But it's life and there's nothing we can
do. All I can say is just choose your
friends more carefully. I certainly am
after what happened to me.

I wish you peace
