Is it insanity I experience when a portal opens up?
How is it I see her, feel her, and read her?
Is this a born sensation that I have waited 40 years to enhance?
Am I destined to love her and fear her?

Her beauty is more stunning than a shooting star or the northern lights,
I fear and await the knife which will be the eclipse that darkens my life,
She says that she is devoted to me through all thick and thin,
How did this manic soldier get so lucky to receive her hand as wife?

My reflection in the mirror cries with dismay, but yet with joy,
One minute I feel so strong, so loved and needed, the next I cry,
Is fear and pain the downfall to those as us, who exist in true love?
Must we feel these emotions, so when we turn to dust, we continue and never die?

A non visible connection between our shells,
An energy filled imbecile, not for birth, but for reunification,
Two separate individuals, but thoughts combined as one,
Is true love true, when one’s heart and soul jumps in without hesitation?

Why does time seem to go slow when these two hearts are apart?
Does number 11 which the clock always is projecting a unification of 2?
Why does time stand still when we are embraced in joined arms?
Shall we question our destiny? Those who experience true love as us, aren’t many and are few,

Does trust mean to be jealous to show that love is deeper than flesh?
The windows to the souls never lie, neither does she, neither do I,
Is time apart a test of ones inner strength and compilation of memories?
Does true love mean constant butterflies and a heart that fly’s?

I enjoy those butterflies and the soaring heart every single day,
I show it, she doesn’t, does that mean they are one sided?
Do soul mates have to be identical in their feelings, or separate to create the bond?
How does one explain, when she stands in the hallway in the dark, but the hallway becomes lighted?

Are we such basic creatures, that I sit here and ask these questions?
Am I worthy to know the truth, could I handle the revelations of answers?
I trust and love her more than I do myself,
I want to protect her with my soldier instincts, and gothic lancers!

Will she ever open up and give me that one sign I need?
I laugh at that line, for what sign do I seek?
She is of royal decedents with streaming veins of blue blood,
I am so common, so UN natural and so meek,

Does she know I come from a place further away where she has never been?
Does she know I have waited many lifetimes to catch her running legs?
Does she know that I lay awake at night watching her breath?
Does she realize this is reality, not two actors up on a stage?

Does she know Thor and the man with the snake headed cane brought us together?
Does she know that her past life is why our stars exist?
It was her crown thrown up to the heavens that exploded into light, her light and being,
Does she have any idea how far I have traveled to finally be in this abyss?

I bow to you my queen of all existence and light,
I proclaim my faithfulness and devotion to you my highness,
I hold this dagger high in my left hand and stand rock solid,
Should this ever end, I will yell out your name, as my dagger strikes me, I shant live, I will chant at my last breath, I love you my kindness, as my dagger slips me into blindness!
