Lost in the darkest twilight...
Seeing visions that aren't in sight...

Chasing dreams that run away...
Not finding answers in all I say...

Wind blowing sand in my face...
Burning my eyes like a can of mace...

Lost in a sea of dismay...
Crawling, trying to find a way..

Wishing for an unlocked door...
My troubles seem to grow even more...

When will this headache cease...
When will my mind be at peace...

I have no more strength in my soul...
This torment has finally taken it's toll...

The Lord keeps testing my loyalty to his gift...
I keep falling deep and hit by the rift...

One day it will be done...
When, with no stress I can run...

God give me strength that I no longer possess...
So my family has no worries and drops the stress...

Sad but well written.
Just my personal oppionon but I don't think God puts us thru test. The way I see it evil throws the stumbling block and means it for bad then God comes along and turns it into good. Again, just my oppionon.

that was good i really liked it...
Sometimes I wonder if we all exaggerate the way we feel…but I know that sometimes we can not control it, and we start sinking deeper and deeper into a darker zone...no matter how much we fight it…we go back to god asking for guidance and strength …and we know that time will only heal our souls…so all we gotta do is wait and try to live life as it is and keep on going…:) so u hang on that;)

Wow guy this is a sad but wonderfully written poem. Yes, I to believe that we are being tested on a daily basis. We are given choices to make each and everyday. There are even outside interferences that always seem to further our day to day stresses. Just hang in there guy and keep the faith. May you find the peace and joy you seek in your heart soon.

One of the best poems I have had the pleasure reading..Stay strong..the trials and tribulations in life give us a greater perspective of life. My aunt always said.."God only gives you what you can handle"

Dearest Bill~ sadness engulfs my heart after reading this by you my dear friend. Life has never been a bed of roses and we are put through trials and tests throughout our lives. It's how we deal with them is what counts. God I believe only gives us things He knows that we can handle. You my friend have such strength and courage and I know you and your beautiful family will overcome whatever difficulties or situations that are brought forward to you.
