The moments that mean a lot just fade
I enjoy every second cuz I know they will end
They are all just moments in time

During that time I couldn’t be any happier
But when they are all over I just want to cry
I feel like a moment of my life is over
A moment that I wish I could have done more

Every moment that passes I just sit in regret
Why did I not do the things I wanted
I really wish I could do and say what I think I need to
But I never do. I just keep everything to myself

No one will ever understand me so I don’t even try
People only see half of me. They see what I show
But there is another side that very few know
No one will never see the half which I hide from the world

The one thing I want in life is to have a dream come true
A moment where I know things are at their best
But I can’t make myself take chances for failure
I know what I should do, but its not something I can do

I just spend my life wishing and hoping for more
But more never comes. Every day is the same as the last
I live in a world where I want more and ask for more
But I just sit back and let everything pass me by [comments] => 2 [counter] => 244 [topic] => 21 [informant] => matt82583 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

Got the meaning but not the flow.

Sometimes exactly how I feel.

Thank you for reading my mind! XD

The greatest parts are the last stanza [[ especially the 1st and 2nd lines of it ]] and all of the first one.

In general this poem at times can be a little repetitive, but that just shows that you really want your point across.

So good job! ^__^

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
