- now is my turn
the season is how I saw it
- in that crystal ball
dying in her eyes
now no longer the friends I had
limp hair and worn eyes
they fade in meaning
and now I scream out
if I exist, you must exist
for I refuse to believe I’m unique
nothing in the world is new
- just the change of yesterday
yesterday I wasn’t so different
so my moment, my future
- they can’t be so foreign
but the season is how I saw it
friends fall apart
but that’s life
and I still have an ocean of life
and now I scream out
a beacon in the ink of night
- searching for another light
one with the sky full of life
to make a world together
- larger than anything before
lands to rise – full of smiles
taking that formed key
because it’s all possible
that’s how I saw it
- in that crystal ball
dying in her eyes
- and the rest
but that’s life.
