The air is a heavy blanket of desire
Suffocating with its heated sighs and
Yet, through the fog I still hear
You call to me…

* * * * * * *

A candle whispers vanilla scented secrets
As you shed the last of your clothing by my side…

~skin of caramel satin~
~soft curls of infinite darkness~
~lusciously winding curves~
~timeless eyes~

I kiss your toes with warm adoration
A willing slave to his goddess,
My mouth traveling along the forbidden paths
between your thighs

Ever

So

Slowly

* * * * * * *

Trembling beneath the fire of your lips
I cannot resist
The temptation of succumbing to
A night of ardent pleasure…

* * * * * * *

I fill every pore,
Every soft and yielding sanctuary of your body
As you melt into my arms,
A smoldering whimper dancing on your tremulous lips…

Darling, it’s been so long…

* * * * * * *

My heart thrashes against its cage,
Screaming for release,

a breath

ragged
unfulfilling

And all I want is
an end

one final cry of
Closure

Tranquility
There after…

* * * * * * *

…only to be reborn from wet ashes
draining the past from your broken soul
and bathing you in a shower of
Frozen diamonds…

(A/N- Many thanks to Scotty, who sparked my inspiration with his own bathtub poem, and to You... who is everything and the basis of all my love poetry. TQM, Querido.)
