I don't know why I'm posting this really. It's not that great.
I just feel like posting it.

staring into darkness
lay here without a sound
searching through my memories
you didn't even attempt
to delve
into my soul
fascination took hold
as if you were Faust
you sold your soul
to the Devil

tears turned ice cold
froze like they didn't matter
say but one word
as you walk away

Don't be too critical - this isn't a bad piece at all. Quite a lot of feeling and meaning in this. The second stanza is very nice.
My life has felt a little like this of late - with the whole reshuffling of everything and learning what I actually mean to some ppl I know.
