Array ( [sid] => 12698 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => As I Stare Out My Window… [time] => 2003-02-15 22:20:00 [hometext] => I know its cold out, but somehow, I do find some positive thought to the beauty of our seasons. The hint of spring is drawing near, and I really cannot wait to get outside to walk without bulking up in 9-25 degree weather. I do yearn for the warm air to come soon, and just wrote this to help the cold blues away some. [bodytext] => What do I see?
The fresh layer of lightly fallen snow
On all that was in its path, making all look so lovely
Little animal tracks come hither along they go
Here and there, thru the yard and up thru the trees
I see what is to be the rabbit’s paw marks
Crazy circles they roam, must of been playing, each other as to tease!
So not a human print yet to be had, only where the vehicle parks
Little fine feathered friends, scurried prints everywhere,
The Robins, grackles and some bluebirds too
Seems so early they are, gathering the fruits of the winter crabapples fair!
As I stare out my window, so pretty a site, all of what nature can brew
Spring will be here all too soon, we all seemly cannot wait
As I again will stare out my window, to see all something new
The freshness of wild beauty takes on for it to create
All our seasons, as I stare out my window, so blessed our natures view
