[bodytext] => I could never get the girl, And life, so lonely, was hell, So friend said he’d set me up a blind date, Now that’s what I would call a mate. Blind date? Thanks mate! Yet the first lass was six foot three, The second came from lorded gentry, And I was beginning to lose hope, But he said not to be such a dope. Blind date? Thanks mate! The next was a bouncer at the dance hall, Followed by a dwarf at three foot tall, He said that I was being too picky, But he’d see me right with a girl called Vicky. Blind date? Thanks mate! Vicky, alas, was bald, no hair, But not crossed eyed like Claire, Then I got set up for a whammy, Stepping out with cross dresser called Tammy. Blind date? Thanks mate! Decided on my own again to go, And met a nice lass called Flo. But got me into a lot of strife, As now I’m dating my mate’s wife. Blind date? Thanks mate!
