Beautiful night
Stars fill up the heavens with light
Oh, I wish I were with them

High above it all
Staring down at earth
Blue and green they swirl
I’m filled with unexplainable mirth

And down on the ground
Everything might be falling apart
Down on the ground
Wars wage and bodies are carried away in a cart

But as long as I’m up here
Nothing can touch me
And nothing can get near
When I’m flying
Up in the sky

Sitting on the earth
Staring at the sky
Sun is shining brightly
But everything’s a lie

Up in the sky so cerulean
I look down on everything so mean
Everything’s a mess
Everyone’s heart is beating less

And I miss the things I was born for
Miss the earth, and I miss you more
I love all the ground
And I miss the way that I feel so safe (that I feel so sound)

But as long as I’m up here
Nothing can touch me
And nothing can get near
When I’m flying
Up in the sky

So come join me
Young and old
Do not what you have been told
Anyone can make it; fear not
If they try they’ll be caught
Up in the sky

So come; we’ll fly up high
You and me
We’re quite a sight to see
We’ll give it a try
Up in the sky

Yes, we belong on earth
Yes, it’s our birth
But who’d want to live down there
Danger and Destruction bound

And as long as I’m up here
Nothing can touch me
And nothing can get near
When I’m flying
Up in the sky

Good piece, Queen, a beautiful place to escape from the ugliness. I think little escapes are okay, or a 'step back' to get a fresh perspective, don't you? Bizzy
