I must agree this is a truly beautiful write. My favourite lines are these:.

This is something I can really relate too. I held my grief for a long time, maybe I was just being stubborn, or maybe I was scared I would forget the person I grieved for. Your words speak volumes, and I can sense the emotion very well. Enjoyed it very much. Sue x |

Brilliant Billy!
There isn't a part I chose the best its all wrapped up neatly within my heart.
We all hold onto something a little longer than planned I think but then we let it go and let it be.

My angel, I have read this over and over and each time, find
my breath stolen. This is completely enchanting, sweets. I, as
others, am drawn especially to that last stanza. It's incredibly
captivating .. and written with such an ingenious flair that I find
myself lost absolutely and fully within the words.
To find ourselves in restful slumber and letting go of all the
sorrows that have long harboured within, is a delightful and
dreamy notion, babe. And one that, I believe, can be even
further advanced by a love held in our deepest of hearts.

I, like the other commentors love the stanza that's been pointed out. We do tend to hold on to our grief alot longer than we should.
As always your work is never disappointing. I am always inspired to write after reading your magnificient work. I love the way you are able to pen down your deepest emotions.

Although a depressive affect was prevalent, your words bring much more to the table.
This was great touch:

I love this piece as it speaks of letting go of pain and if one is to ever be nourished in this life forgiveness, understanding and love (to our greatest pain) is the way we are set free.
A wise and wonderful piece that I hope guides many. |
