Luv to hear your comments. [bodytext] => Drops of water strike my window as I look out at the dreary rain.
My hand runs through my hair as I tense and feel life’s strain.
Stress runs through my body, and my stomach feels a sharp pain.

This is my life, a life like the rest. I’ve gone to college, studied so hard to become the best. I see people running through the storm, they are going somewhere, but they go nowhere at all. I see a young man fall, and the rest all trample him, only I hear his emergency call.

My mind has shut down trying to preserve mental cycles for my critical life pulse.
Everything we see and think that is real in life has been misrepresented, it’s all false.
We run in circles like rats in the lab, we dine at expensive restaurants, but really can’t afford the tab.

I sit in this cold rain and feel it drip off my back. My bones are frozen as I call to God for the strength I lack.

To gain the whole world is like running to catch each drop of rain that is falling. You dash about wasting all of your life's energy on possessions hoping you can make them stay . In the end, all you have gained were just a few drops of rain that will eventually evaporate away. I love the analogy..catching rain that just evaporates=time gathering "things"...brilliant.
