Scoop it up in their hands, make it from clay.
Does that mean me? Is it mine? Can I taste it?
Don’t hide what you feel, it’s a power, don’t waste it.
It’s my spite so I might as well pay for the free ride,
So pay no mind or look on the bright side.
Shake of the tree and see what falls to the ground,
Paid the price many score and used to the sound.
Another chance sinks down or it floats away,
How about you sacrifice a little of yourself today?
Swallow your pride and embrace your fear,
I know I am nothing, and it’s crystal clear.

Carbon stain, makes it to the waterways,
Carbon rain, to taste before it runs away,
Carbon blame, reap the benefits, count the costs another day,
Carbon pain, I thought it had faded, but still haunts me today.
Carbon fate, whatever I need to, whatever it takes,
Carbon stake, twist it ‘til the heart breaks.
Carbon load, around a high time, away is a low,
Carbon clothes, close the curtains, spoil the show.

At a loss for actions not words,
cut my cord and I’ll start the process of healing,
Someone teach me how to snap lock bag and keep crispy fresh feelings.
Hold, hell of a long time to be torn astray,
Loaded, over and over a princess sealed away.
Like grains of sand from the hand that fall away,
Tasteless, air is better in moderation anyway.
Take a cool calm sip from a frozen lake,
Drop the sphere and watch it shatter like a heart can break.
That was your decision; no one aided the destruction of pictures,
You know it’s these thoughts that test the strength of my stitches.
I’ve got two hands, why can’t I adapt to the surrounds?
If I could figure out how to take hold, I’d part the clouds.

I think I have enough left to take up arms for another go,
A sea of troubles, how will another one affect the show?
If I knew where I stood, then I’d stand there and look ahead,
No matter what else, fate holds me in some sort of stead.
So is it fate? Test my faith in it, let the clouds blacken,
Let the lava come, what’s the worst that could happen?
Give it the chance to fly, or cut it down and watch it fade,
Brace myself and settle in for another cool calm change.
And I can feel it when you tell me about those things you keep,
But I can’t tell if my dreams are really real, and if life is sleep.
So if I release all pressure, what’s left to go?
Windbreak all the weather, embrace undertow.

Carbon load, around a high time, away is a low,
Carbon clothes, close the curtains, spoil the show…
Carbon code, slam the curtains, smash the show.
