My mind wanders back to a time less urgent…
Where your eyes met mine and love was present…

I took a knee and announced my love to you…
Cupid shot his arrow and my heart it went through…

I heard your heartbeat with mine…
Back then all was certainly fine…

Where the problems of the day mattered little…
Our love was warm our passion was fertile…

I knew back then you were my only…
You touched my hand so kindly…

I held you in my arms so tight…
Making the moment feel so right…

When the moonlight shined in your eyes…
I felt like a kid who got a birthday surprise…

You were my darling ecstasy…
The one that was meant for me…

I can remember these things so well…
I to you can truly tell…

I remember them now…
And you might ask how…

Because they happened a few seconds ago… [comments] => 7 [counter] => 350 [topic] => 2 [informant] => oneir8dude [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 25 [ratings] => 5 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
