Delicious autumn
Autumn winds are blowing
And the rain is gently falling
The trees are deep in foliage
The geese fly by
Is this not the perfect picture
Of why life is?
While it doesn’t explain how it began
It screams out why it is
And then some
Delicious autumn
You awe me
There’s no match for you
All your colors
And crisp breezes
Aglow in your sunsets
Who can touch this?
Certainly not me
I watch you happen
So gratefully
There’s not a string of my body
That doesn’t react to this
While all the seasons count
You’re the best
