I sit at the edge of our bed
trying to find the bravery to lay down my weary head
I am grateful for our memories
for they will never die
but it keeps me on my knees
that you had to say good bye
I reminisce on days of gladness
when you were close to me
as I fade into the darkness
of loves forsaken sea
I can't go on knowing that you'll
never be my bride
no I just can't go on living without you
by my side
no life isn't worh living
since our love had to die [comments] => 6 [counter] => 250 [topic] => 13 [informant] => brave_celt [notes] => Edited for spelling as requested - Moderator_16 [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Nicely written. I'd suggest use punctuation. It gives the effect of knowledgeable resources. It also looks professional. I think It's a good poem. You're off to a great start!
