Array ( [sid] => 126106 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Holy War [time] => 2006-09-23 10:03:50 [hometext] => Why do we kill our children? And eachother, for that matter [bodytext] => So they call it “holy”
Holy war
An oxymoron for sure
Holy war or Jihad
There’s so much death
That doesn’t feel like God
People so brainwashed
They blow themselves up
18 virgins, and lots of holy wealth

If God is truly the Father of all
I’m sure he wouldn’t approve
Of this at all
In fact I think he’d be pretty *****
We’d all be grounded for this
That’s what MY Dad would do
If I did such hateful acts to you

A Father loves his children
And wants to keep them safe
Wants them to be happy
Find love, and populate
His home with grandchildren
Certainly not kill them
But so many kids, in this alleged “holy” war
Are dying
Never even knowing what for
The bombs, from “both” sides
Just simply fall there
There’s no recess from that
I’m sure all the children
Wish the adults would take a time out
We ask them, “What were you thinking?”
Why’d you do that?
But we let them starve, blow them up
Let disease kill them
In places we could easily get to
and bring them plenty of medicine and food
And we will NEVER get them back
I’m sure they are wondering
What the hell WE were thinking
If God would just ground
The insane, the cruel, and the sound
The makers of bombs
And the rulers that toss them around
And any one who hates enough
To take you down
That’s a “Holy war”
I’d like to be around

well said twbanter..unfortunately ..and i'll probably be shot for this..but..many of those countries do not value the life of a child or a wife..women and children are tools and rated even lower than a dog.
