Though I think of them as such
They nest in the sign
The billboard that thrusts
Up from the ground
And into the air
Sheltered from wind
And the suns heated glare

They take to the sky
All together it seems
To fly in formation
A stunt pilot’s dream
They twist and they turn
Then they roll and they dive
Together as one
Like they share the same mind

Not nearly as graceful
As eagles or hawks
But their acrobatic antics
Are mesmerizing to watch
I stand and I stare
All the while I dream
How I’d love, just one time
To be part of that team

Naz,

If we could fly would the flight in itself be enough, or would we need to seek a destination to make it all worthwhile? Or if we can walk is the walking in itself enough, or is the destination more important?

....How free it must feel to fly!

I so enjoy your poems, they seem to trigger my immagination, my friend

PS I hope your recuperation goes well, Nazzy

Will/Terry
