Upon my mixed up brain,
The pressure in my head so strong,
The demon is back again,

He taunts me in an evil way,
Destroys my sense of pride,
Confronts me with a terror,
From which I cannot hide,

He twists the knife within my side,
The thumb screws he has tightened,
No beauty do I now see in life,
I am scared, dismayed and frightened,

Swallowed by the waves of doubt,
Being slowly taken down,
My life it flashes in front of me,
As in this deluge I do drown,

My arms thrash out in helpless fear,
My legs search for solid ground,
The blood in my veins it rushes fast,
My heart begins to pound,

My nerves they are hanging by a thread,
My eyes show no expression,
I am enclosed within a hollow shell,
By that evil called depression.

Oh Sue, this had a wonderful flow.

Expression of the heart is evident here, and has been done
with amazing flare. Writing this down, must have at least been
good for the soul. Beautiful job. *warm thoughts and hugs*
