A lone greasy lightbulb dangles
From a frayed dusty string
No longer able to shed any light

There is a stooped shadow of man
His calloused elbows protruding
Through his rancid threadbare sweater
Displaying the grime of a body unwashed.

On the scarred unsteady table in front
Of this stooped solitary man
Lays his cruel weapon of choice
He hesitates,he's unsure of its use.

In crooked spindly fingers he lifts it
Stroking its indifferent cool sleekness
With shaking soiled hands he finds his target
Fearful that his shadowy aim may not be true

With a raspy breath he sighs
A garrish demonic grin upon his face
The poison curses through his veins
He proceeds to pen his toxic words.

The pen is mightier than any sword, and you gave us a vision of this. Toxic being very strong a word. Well written. Sue x
