At times, fear takes over,
An uncontrollable feeling of helplessness.
A pit in the bottom of the stomach,
That gruel with every breath and thought.
~
Yet I find comfort in the words of the Lord,
“Be still and know that I am God” is what is said.
“My grace is sufficient for you” Psalms 46:10,
What a powerful verse.
~
Though fear can be overwhelming,
When the future and outcome is not clear.
Yet it is a time for us to demonstrate our faith,
And place our concerns in God’s loving hands.
~
What a mighty God we serve,
Capable of all things.
No task is outside his ability,
And no fear is outside his concern.

Fear
~
At times, fear takes over,
An uncontrollable feeling of helplessness.
A pit in the bottom of the stomach,
That gruel with every breath and thought.
~
Yet I find comfort in the words of the Lord,
