How did it ever come to this
I shattered your heart
And knew as did
That you felt every blow

I never forgave myself
And I don't think I ever will
How could I forgive
What I did to you

So tear me up now
I deserve no less
For my crime the
Sentence should be merciless

But from you I get
Grace
And you forgive me
This undeserving boy

He finds it hard to accept
And cannot believe
That his wrongs

Did you tell this to the girl?
After reading a poem like that I don't know how you wouldn't be forgiven!
Good feeling of guilt and regret.

It is hard to understand how what seems so wrong to one can be easily understood and forgiven in anothers... Love is powerful and so is honesty and understanding... I think if it was me I would probably still ask myself how can that be forgiven... sometimes it is hard to accept someones forgiveness when you don't accept or haven't forgave yourself for what you did... I understand where you are coming from in this poem... I thought this was well written and I liked it alot...

Very well written... It strongly conveyes the remorsefulness and the ability that some have to forgive something terrible one might have done.
