Do you know what's on my mind
When the lesson's being taught?
Having you five rows down
Keeps you in my thought.
Do you kow that every word
Makes me think of you.
Even the smallest phrase.
If only you ever knew.
Do you know I look for reflections
Just to see your face.
A glimpse of you is perfect,
No matter what time or place.
Do you know the notes I take
Are really all about you.
Capturing every moment
Of what you say and do.
Do you know I can hear your laugh
And sense your every move.
I want you to turn this way,
But I have nothing to prove.
Do you know my heart is racing
When the teacher says your name.
Like you're dangled out in front of me,
Such an unfair game.
Do you know that theres a tear
Creeping down my cheek.
Because every time you raise your hand,
Your voice makes me so weak.
Do you know what's on my mind
Every hour of every day.
It's you, it never fails.
You just take me away.
