how do I let go

Contributed by marly on Saturday, 16th September 2006 @ 02:21:30 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

How do I let go of what I've never had
How do I be happy,
you hurt my heart so bad

How do you feel when you rip my love away
How do you feel
when it's me that you betray

How do I deal with pain so nonchalant
when it's only love
that I truly want

How do you take my words with all this pain in my face
How do you push me away
When it's you I want to embrace

So how do I let go of love that's so untrue
How will I get by
without the presence of you

This write really hit me. Your pain and sadness came right through the screen. Nicely written. I hope you find your ray of sunshine.

I absolutely agree....there is no denying the emotion in your writing. It's wonderful and good luck in your happiness.
