[bodytext] => As I search through the hidden chambers of my heart, I get a sense that I'm missing a vital part. Beginning to feel with my hands, I stumble and fall. Listen, can you hear my screams through your thick wall? I've tried to engulf you in my love, but what I give is too small. Help me stand, walk toward my voice and give me your hand. Hold me, and kiss me, we need to create a spark. I desperately need to see your face in this lonely dark. Life me up, and take me somewhere higher. Let's make out, lighting us up on fire. I know we could fly away from here, but you can't fly because of your fear. I watch you cry because of your past. Stop, let me wipe away that tear. Our wings are still in the past, we removed them in order to try and run through life very fast. Now we are out of breath, our feet are sore and we can run no more. Let's blaze a trail back to our wings of love, and all of our heart's missing parts. We must make sure to leave a bright trail mark, hold my hand as we go back looking into the dark. ---------- written by Jonathan Wichmann [comments] => 2 [counter] => 211 [topic] => 21 [informant] => midnightwriter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )
