When you left,
you said dont worry i will be back....
The days pass one into another
Days to weeks, weeks to months
And your still not here

I long to feel your touch ,
Telling me your near.
I need to hear your voice
Sounding oh so sincere

When you left, I felt so alone
I never knew how hard it would be
To have you go so far away from me.
It wasn’t your choice to go away
I know you wanted to stay.

The days to weeks and weeks to months
Soon will be a year
And I know you will be back here.

I really enjoyed your poem. I could feel your separation and strong emotions to have your husband back home. I know how your feeling, and I wish your husband a safe trip home at Gods Speed.
Great write.
Thanks
Mac

Your longing for your love one is well presented here. I'm sending good thoughts that he'll come home soon...all safe and sound. (I hope they all come home) I prefer peace to the whole war thing.
Take care.
Peace and hugs,
Laura
