Heads or tails is barely made
Flipping coins as guidance
Constantly shadowed by the dwindling shade

Elaborate schemes are postulated
Unnecessarily touted
Simple routes are negated
Complex system of streams
It seems, never properly navigated
The mouth of the basin
Where all enters
Complacent
Then eradicated

As the teeth grind and clench
To bite down on any insubordinate
Actions deemed necessary
As to build upon the fragile truce
The flagrant truth
Waits in the distance
As proof of their existence
Undeniable request made with persistence
Made in the streets of boisterous resistance
Where crowds gather to meet on holy days
In the name tolerance and commitment

A creature of separation is spawned
A revelation is cloned
Written to incite harm
Delivered with speech meant to alarm
Neighboring cities and their beachs
From the impending girlish charm
With a stretch and a few reachs
Tired eyes watch sleepy mouths yawn
Green grass spreads
Where once dirt claimed the front lawn
Parasitic weeds torment red roses
Their blossoms never shown
To a world on edge
On the ledge
Between cold and warm
