There’s a cloak of darkness
We all wear
But there’s no reason for it
Anywhere
But we wear it all the same
In fact it has a name
Insecurity it’s called
Self esteem, social attire, it’s deemed
It’s a one size fits all
And it covers us up
In some fanatical dream
And the beauty of it all
In it we can’t be seen

I have that cloak to, think every one has worn it at some time.. it will really need cleaning lol..
Really clever way to describe how we hide our insecurities and self esteem.. Great poem.. xxx

Very good write, but me being as I am, my insecurity is hidden by my constant talking, ha ha. But know where you are coming from. Well written and a pleasure to read. Sue x
