a single cycle that has always been to clean and bring new
coils and dirt in a never ending feed on the decay and corrupt
but in true life we are the worms but we do not renew
we throw and live carefree in a heap thats pilled to high
toss away and buy new the way the cookie starts to crumble
but is it to late to look for beauty in the new and fresh
or is this garbage a reminder of what we are and why we have succumed
to give away all for the life of another or the wealth of the many
just to be another face in this darkened room cold and coiled
feeding on the belly of the biggest fish so we dont get hurt
since pain is the hardest thing to bear we build these walls
to keep others out but to view the ones we love from a far
love can uncoil our need to destroy to replace this need to begin anew
what a world when surprises never end and life is eternal
where we can play in the garden again with hope and a better renew [comments] => 1 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 43 [informant] => lostrelic [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

I'm sensing a deep anguish towards the human race. I don't think it's that bleak, and choice feeds relief. But no matter... That was a good poem. A lot of people on this site may say... But it didn't rhyme!! (Snicker...)
