Array ( [sid] => 12543 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => My Heavenly Star [time] => 2003-02-13 09:00:00 [hometext] => I wrote this one for my girlfriend, her nickname is Star. [bodytext] => With the captivating brilliance
of the beauty within your eyes
Billions of stars in the heavens
shine valiantly through the night
The compass of my unguided soul
would be forever thrust asunder
If I was never again able to see
such a bold and wonderful sight

One time when I gazed upward
deeply into the blackened abyss
I witnessed a shooting star race
across the sky in a blaze of glory
Though remaining expressionless
knowing it's days were numbered
A hopeless feeling grew within me
as I witnessed it tell it's final story

A shooting star somehow relates
to feelings of love here on earth
As it is with grief I hang my head
when fate calls on them to depart
An angel that leaves an impression
as you have always soared up high
The loving presence you portray
definitely impacted my steel heart

When God decided to create you
he made the brightest star of all
you still outshine all of the others
through such an ever giving soul
When I begin to miss you my star
all I have to do is look at the sky
The grace radiating through you
will last forever to make me whole [comments] => 4 [counter] => 201 [topic] => 2 [informant] => ManowarManiac [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
