Amid the many voices past and present
‘Cross the miles and through Time’s open door,
The words I needed most to hold within me
Were offered as perfectly as they’d been before

And nothing mattered anymore, save the
Beauty of heartfelt expression between pauses
And his simple, stalwart statement of condition
That had required no explanation of its cause

For without the flaw of timidity or hesitation
And with the fervor of a passion unrestrained,
He again imparted those words most poetic
And everything and nothing in me changed

I would maintain the relentlessness of falling
Is ever apparent once that truest truth has come
For a heart is lifted and the night is brightened
As if the moon had collided with the sun

Still, I come undone with each repeated hearing,
Above the commotion or in our quietude,
And never will it not thrill as it did the first time...

Not, my darling, when it comes from you

Oh sweetie .. oh my GOSH!! This is perfection!!

That last line is so positively beautiful and how I do adore the fact that you italicized it and gave
it a LONE place of distinction. There are many things I could mention here, but the one I believe
most pertinent is that we all long to hear and share certain things with those we love and when
those particular words or phrase pass from our lips, it seems, the world is stilled to listen.
Our hearts race and stop all at once; our minds fill with the most gloriously gratifying thoughts
and we can hardly tempt ourselves into a patience that looks forward to all that is forthcoming ..

I know this .. I know it intimately, dearest friend. Thank you for this piece that so
moveth my heart and stirreth my soul. You have penned what I have often "thought".
And I SO love that you can do that ..

~Breezy
