shattered eyes of glass and tears
what remains?
but a tired soul that no one steers

as bold as smoke from a smoking gun
release me from the cage i keep
never let me carve the sun
into shapes that haunt the deep

mother calls
and tears flow from through the phone
buried dolls
and bones that help me clean the home

nevermind that i'm here alive
release me from the skin
and let the others love to die
as i release my hate within

candy heart
shed your sweets and sour glee
tear apart
all the love you shared with me

A poem full of mental images - quite the interesting read. J.
