the ones you often look over are the ones that care the most

Time passes by

teenage years are filled with happiness, love, tears, and conquering fears.

Life goes on

soon marriage and kids starting careers.

Time to look back

friends you wanted to keep

you realize the friendship was never suppose to be.

We continue on

teenage years dont even seem to be as big of a deal

because there are way bigger problems now

after ten to twenty years.

Love

the one you thought would be

you realized after all that time

that person was never meant for you or me.

Happiness

the things that use to make us happy

arent even classified as happiness now

because there are way better things now you see,

and then after this life still goes on,

you find more friends in the long run.

Love

I have always thought there was someone here for everyone.

Happiness

I think everyone eventually finds that in the end.

Now back to the beginning again,

back to age of five

when we thought Duck, duck goose

and Hide and go seek

were the coolest games and lets not forget Freeze.

The age of eight

when we rode bikes without training wheels

and we lost our front two teeth.

Age eleven

when summer was over and it was back to school

we made sure we had the best clothes and shoes

because we didnt want to be made fun of.

Age Fifteen

peer pressure kicked in

and we did all that we could to fit in.

Finally age eighteen, seniors

and we get to the point where we just dont care about anything.

College

now looking back missing all our childhood years,

wishing we could do it again.

The end of college

the new beginning of a chapter

realizing that life is not a fairy tale

and everyone does not live happily ever after.

Years later on

looking back is your life what you planned it out to be

would you change anything

no one ever said you couldnt look back

its good to have memories,

but when its all said and done

looking back doesnt matter

because life still goes on.
