Inside her head
Swim visions of
Mum and Pop
But they are distorted
Ugly and crude
White walls surround her being
Strangers "love" her
And five razor blades
Prick her body and soul

The night of bloodshed and metal
Rescues her from this ordeal
and places her in limbo
To protect

Topic: Suicide

She screams with a violent rage
Inside her head
Swim visions of
Mum and Pop
But they are distorted
Ugly and crude
White walls surround her being
Strangers "love" her
And five razor blades
Prick her body and soul

Until

The night of bloodshed and metal
Rescues her from this ordeal
and places her in limbo
To protect
The next victim.

LD
The coward in me is rushing away from this terrible period in your life. It is only the you of today which keeps me following your past as I promised I would.
You write with incisive imagery I can almost feel the wounds.

LD I'm having big problems on my email connecton (Outlook Express) through my cable company NTL (another of my also HATES) so want to keep our poetry confined to YPDC and not get it mixed up with my Model Railway busuness and Family links, shopping etc.
Can we put our combined poem project on the shelf till I get myself sorted. I need my son to come over to show me how.
