For days and days
Wash me clean
Let my colors drift out into the streets
Surrounding me in my deeds
No more lies
And you could see me for what I am
Not a saint
Nor the dammed
But for a girl
Who is lost, and who is in love
She wishes she could write
Write and lose herself in her thoughts
Find a place of calm where
No one else could disturb her
Where she didn’t need to make life interesting
And she always felt accepted
But,
Wouldn’t that be just bliss?
Her and her thoughts
Spilled all over the road
Thick as blood
Painting the town red

I thought a bit..
[lines 12 & 13]

..your work is as good as any - perhaps even better-
truth is most accountable for that

Strength to you..

On a light note ... The coastal areas of Washington state recieve a fair share of anual rainfall.

On a technical note ... your wish to write has been rewarded. Well done in my opinion.

Cleansing rain, and bringing out the real you. It does make you think. I enjoyed reading this very much. Sue x

Although the category is miscellaneous, I
see an evident struggle here ..

a much familiar one ..

To melt into the rain, spilling colours of emotion
onto the road is an interesting thought ~ I would
say you've made life interesting without the
necessity of trial .. just by the simple fact of having
penned this. Great job trini!
