i hope to give you what i lost
to not have you want an thing
no matter what the cost
just remember baby boy daddy is here
he is sticking around
no going anywhere
you and your brother are my world
so please dont hate me
as your life unfurled
for hatred is something i know about
my dad wasnt there
so i shut him out
but never will i turn my back
never leave you
my love you'll never lack
so hope my rambling words ring true
and i can do my best
when i look after you
for my boys hating me is something i cant take
it will tear my heart
and my body will break

I felt you kick my hand today
was it hello?
or go away?
for my life is not the same
as when your brother was young
and thats a shame
i hope to give you what i lost
to not have you want an thing
