closed my eyes as I jumped. landed safely in a hedge,
then I thought I'll stab myself, for a sharp knife I did hunt,
when I tried to stab my self the flippin knife was blunt,

then I took and over dose it just made me feel quite ill,
I wonder what it was I took, it was quite a big pill,
before I had taken them, should of read the label,
they were suppositories... for piles... prescribed for aunty mabel,

Then I tried to hang my self from the rafters of the house,
the rope broke, in the loft been chewed, by a little mouse,
went to the train track jumped onto the track,
forgot there was a train strike, just nearly broke my back,

So now iv'e given up, the message is quite clear,
if I cannot kill myself must be meant to stay here,
why did I try to do it, must be going mad,
I love my life, it never worked so now im really glad....

I agree that killing yourself is never the answer. Life is a really hard journey, perhaps harder for some than it is for others, but still not a completely golden road for any of us. Our trials, and tribulations are our stories to tell. To live and to survive is victory. I enjoyed your poem.
