The world go round.
Watch it spin and watch it stop.
Watch as time locks.

And mysteries unravel.
Painless steel
And a burned down veil.
Blinded by the light but captured by darkness
Of a bleak cold.

Watch someone’s life unfold.
And once again try to block out the cold.
Could you be so bold and lock yourself
Into a suffocating mold?

Standing on the ground and watch
The world go round.
Watch it spin and watch it stop.
Watch as time locks

Watch as your life fills up with blocks.
And you hear the tic-tocks of other
Peoples clocks.
The pain the size of a dozen flocks.
Standing on the ground

And watch the world go round.
Who was lost and now found?
Who was free and now bound?
And hunted like a bloodhound.

Standing on the ground and watch
The world go round.
Watch it spin and watch it stop.
Watch as time locks.

The serenity is plenty.
And the world’s pain triples to infinity.
See how love dies.
See how people are full of sad cries.
Standing on the ground
And watch the world go round.
Watch the picture fade into view.
And display a motion picture

Frozen by the locks of time.
And how life should be valued more than a dime.
Too bad guilt isn’t a punishable crime.
Standing on the ground and watch

The world go round.
Watch it spin and watch it stop.
Watch as time locks.
A clear picture of a closed-minded person

Who watches and never learns.
Standing on the ground
And watch the world
Go round.

Extremely good poem, it manages to capture so much about reality. Some may call it a bit pessimistic, but in my opinion it is a realistic point of view.
