Good luck means nothing to me
So exactly what does that mean for me now
Have I given up on almost everything
My scars are easy to see
Haunting reminders indeed
And they still bleed
For the first time I'm down on my knees

Begging, pleading now
Intercede please
Show me how

If I could survive
If I was innocent, would you take the blame for me
If I could survive
Would you take the blame for me

You're asking nothing of me
Just say good bye and I'm free
It's so easy, I don't understand
But I want you more than anything
Can't seem to begin to release
This conscience for peace
It's so hard till I'm back here
I'm back on my knees

Begging, pleading now
Intercede please

I agree with the precious comment, I can honestly see this as a song more than a poem...

I do like this, it's so confused, or at least, it appears to be.

I think the last two stanzas are the best. They end it really well, and the repetetivness really works.

Good write,
Phil xxx

Isn't that an actual song? It's called 'Guilty' and I can't remember who it's by but I kind of doubt you actually wrote that. I seriously doubt you wrote that and if you didn't you have no right to call yourself any kind of poet, plagiarisms is illegal and saying something is yours when it's not for praise of for a prize is pitiful! You copy cats make me sick you know that? I hope you get to burn one day longer in hell for every praise you get on 'your' poem.
