or shadow like black mist blown
across the Heavenly Ray
of this new-come dawning day?
But their smiles which are sudden and swift
break through all the shadowy rift
from what far beyond and near
is seen and unseen in this blissful sphere.

An amazingly beautiful piece .. and full of truths, beyond compare.
Each stanza breathes on it's own, but when nestled together, they
have an impact that holds an enlightenment that is truly compelling.

Emystar and I just called Spike a genius and a master of words for his write posted right after this one. It's not often two geniuses post one right after the other but, Billy, this was absolute genius in insights and word mastery. There's somethin' wrong in this world when you and Spike don't have half dozen or more books published! I'm in complete AWE!

It is perhaps one of the truest tragedies of life that we lose our sense of wonder as we grow. It is, though, one of the most wonderful blessings that we can rediscover it later. To experience it again after having lived without it for a while is, in my opinion, even more overwhelming and awe inducing than could possibly be imagined.
I love this. And selfishly, I love the reasons why it moves me so.

| Beautiful poem with lots of feeling. I f we could look at the world through a childs eyes, we would see a different world. Innocence in all its wonder, with no greed or selfishness. |

Whether you knew it or not, and I suspect you did, you have managed to tap into a whole realm of psychological development in children (Melanie Klein thinking in particular). That aside, this write was marvelous and smart, for its innocence and for provoking thought.
