[title] => A Mother's Choice
[time] => 2006-08-10 12:51:49
[hometext] => This poem is about the struggle of a mother who uses drugs. She's doing what she think is in the best interest for her child.
[bodytext] => Who is this person I see. She's looking back at me with love in her eyes. Who is this person sitting right next to me. She's wondering why we have to say our goodbyes. A word we never thought would have been our demise. Is now what we have to realize, because of the mistakes I've made. I'll have to understand that we both have been betrayed. But no matter how hard this may seem for us to get pass. This horribale storm has to surpass. Many people were skeptic about the choices i've made. To have my little girl live in a world that is shown as a masquerade. This choice I've made will not effect the path I've paved. For my little girl will see the truth of how I struggle. And maybe her life won't be to much for her to juggle. Although I want her to live a great life. I don't want her to have to live her life in strife. So as her mother I'll do what I feel is right. That means even though it may seem like the wrong thing for me to do. I know that in the end her future is so very bright and the cloud that hangs over her head at night. Will become a new day of light.
