Array ( [sid] => 124251 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Please Dont Kill My Heart Again [time] => 2006-08-09 04:52:17 [hometext] => Name says it all... she entered my forbiden door, took a piece of my heart, and left it in a cold icy patch to die. [bodytext] => For so long I was so sure
and then she entered through my door
a door that wasn’t meant to be
boarded up and locked with bolts
she wandered there
through and through
stepping over my dead past
like an empty cemetery
of everything that’s missed.
She walked over
to my withered heart
and stopped to look upon it
it was still for but a minute
then it beat faintly once
and she picked it up so carefully
and kissed it lightly;
with her soft lips.
It beat a little stronger now
and the sun came over head
clearing all those gloomy clouds
drying up the wet from rain
creating a rainbow throughout my cemetery
deep inside
I felt the glowing
warming my cold lifeless heart
then she set it down again
in an icy patch
as she walked away
I could feel it start to freeze
a tear falling from my cheeks
I began to feel a chill
I looked inside
and noticed
my heart has once again
been killed
I looked at the piece missing
torn apart
from my ripped heart
with it still bleeding
I looked down
upon the blue puddle
forever around it
my broken heart
frozen in its time
darkness coming over head
I watched the rainbow fade
my life wishing it
would get away.

I had hopes in the first few words.. then, like you, I lost it.. lets puddle together... I really like the way you wrote this, it is so good, and it is something I have not explored before.. I urge you to write another one... unique as this is.. Meagan...
