A Day at the Ocean

Contributed by yackerz85 on Monday, 7th August 2006 @ 07:33:13 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

Early in the morning before the sun shows.
You can feel the mist of the ocean as the wind blows.
Then, the sun throws off his cloak to reveal its light
and the water catches fire a bright pink breathaking sight.

In the bright noon sun the sand is hot and bright.
and the ocean waves crash and the seagulls take flight.
The sky is pure blue and not a cloud is to be seen.
and the ocean stretches beyond site with water bluish green.

In the evening darkness a cool breeze blows.
The sand is quite cool and feels good on the toes.
The shimmering ocean waters reflect the glossy white moon.
and the birds of the night sing a slow solemn tune

I loved this poem! EVerything flows so nicely and smooth. This really makes me wish I didn't live in Minnesota!
