pretend, pretender
your life is wasted otherwise,
what fruitless nature
we produce.
in valleys of the
lost and lonely,
save hope for me.
I want nothing more than beauty.
In a realm of nothing,
show me colors brighter
than I could ever conceive,
a single flower,
perfect in its solitude.
Show me something better
than myself.
make me believe
pretender,
make me believe in me.
