Array ( [sid] => 124166 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => by the phone [time] => 2006-08-07 01:05:37 [hometext] => waiting on our anniversary for a phone call that never came [bodytext] => waiting by the phone with much intent, just to hear your voice my heart feels so spent
waiting by the phone imprissioned by hope, thats shadowed by doubt
the phone call to brighten my day, just a few minutes away
i keep telling my self to hold on, but its been so long
i wish to hear you voice it has been some time. i wait for hours this must be a crime
it is our anniversary i love you so much, im bound to it, it holds me up like a cruch
a few hours pass another day without sleep, i love goodnight i hope but not as much as a peep
you are my heart i dont have you to hold, i know i give you a hard time but this is to bold
im going to bed now im drinking my self to sleep, a call must be to steep

i do love you this is just how i feel still my feeling are hidden in rhym their to heavy to speak [comments] => 1 [counter] => 268 [topic] => 9 [informant] => loveistorment [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AnniversaryPoems )

I really like this one! I've been there before; a few times...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
